It was an entire year and a half before the house was ready for them. In October of 2013, the family of six moved into the farmhouse.

Joanna had hoped to maintain the old house’s character as much as they could during the renovation process. This is the reason they only added a single extended structure. They decided that the extension should serve as the master bedroom. Despite everything, nothing could have prevented Joanna from putting amazing fixtures and fittings to achieve the farmhouse of her dreams.

The two of them managed to retain the exterior of the farmhouse. It still looked as classic and traditional as could be after they added a lovely white finish to go with the wooden beams. The oak trees outside, the first thing to grab their attention, helped make the little house even more appealing.
