In retrospect, Matt admitted that he felt a strong urge to rescue Chauncy, but he kept his composure and instead offered to get the boy some doughnuts. Matt felt terrible for the kid because he was obviously overweight, and not in a good way.

Life Changing Moment
Matt was saddened by Chauncy’s predicament and pondered his background and experiences. They didn’t have a lot of money, but it turned out that Chauncy lived with his mom. For the most part, Chauncy was down to nothing but his bus pass and the clothes on his back.
