As the man walked past the aisles of the grocery store on his way in, Matt started asking him questions to learn more about Chauncy. As Chauncy returned from buying doughnuts, he was completely unprepared for what was about to happen.

Matt bought a dozen doughnuts for Chauncy, but that wasn’t satisfactory to the boy. Since Chauncy had asked for assistance, Matt didn’t think it would be right to simply hand over a bag of candy. Matt appreciated that the kid wasn’t just begging for food; he was also willing to work for it.
