An Unusual Ticket
This wasn’t new to him; he’d stopped a lot of drivers before for tinted windows. He had no idea, though, that this circumstance would be unique from the others. Ordinarily, police don’t issue tickets for tinted windows. But this wasn’t your typical ticket.
Doing His Job
Officer Patterson first pulled over the driver to talk about the excessively tinted windows. Being perceived as the bad guy didn’t sit well with the young officer. But he was a rule follower, and when he saw the dark windows, he immediately turned on the patrol car lights and siren. The driver may have been uncertain about what he had done incorrectly.
