Davis was now aware that he needed to begin pursuing. But fortunately, he had prepared for this and had gained some momentum. But in order to even stand a chance of keeping the car, he had to completely floor it. His ability to drive would be put to the test today.

He was currently operating an undercover vehicle rather than a police car. However, this vehicle was not any slower than his go-to police car. He most definitely needed every bit of that speed today because the white Honda was already edging away from him. It was probably even a little bit faster on the straights.
