Putting up the light
Davis made the extremely risky decision to roll down his window and attempt to place his police light on top of the vehicle while continuing to travel at top speed down the highway. It was difficult because it almost felt like the wind would rip his arm off. But he still succeeded in doing it.
Cutting through traffic
It was much simpler to maneuver through traffic and catch up to the Honda with his siren not blasting. The few vehicles that were present immediately gave way to him, but the whiter vehicle still had to maneuver through traffic, slowing him down a bit. Not long after, Davis was almost on his bumper.
