Pink Fairy Armadillo
We know it looks Photoshopped, but we promise you that it is real. This animal is just 5 inches long and burrows underground. The pink fairy armadillo adjusts its temperature by pumping blood in or out of the shell. The blood is the reason it is pink. Weird, adorable, and tiny, the pink fairy armadillo is one elusive animal. You will only ever find them in the deserts of Argentina!
Purple Frog
This animal is a rather unique frog with a small face. This is the reason it is called the “pig-nosed frog.” Found exclusively in India, the tadpoles live on algae-covered rocks with the use of sucker-like mouths. Meanwhile, the adults live underground. Locals eat the tadpoles and use the animals for medicinal reasons. Some even turn them into amulets they give out to kids to contain their fear of storms. This, together with deforestation, has endangered the population of the purple frog.
