When her grandma passed away, the painting was handed down to this young woman. It was an honor for her to call it hers as it was something that had been so dear to her loved one. It was a good way to feel connected to her late grandma. Rose was happy that they at least had this in between them now that she is no longer around. She had been admiring it one day when her eyes picked up on something inside of it. What could it be?

It Had A Small Blemish
The work of art was beautiful, but there was something that was getting in the way of its beauty. Rose brought the painting outside so that she could see the stain that she had just noticed. She found a tiny black insect on it. How did it get between the glass plate and the canvas? Annoyed, she pried open the frame and took out the glass. This meant that she essentially exposed it to the air and sunlight.
