8. Quiznos
The popular sandwich hub, Quiznos hasn’t been doing so hot in recent years. Thanks to financial troubles and store closings, Quiznos now only has 800 stores left in the U.S. From the 5,000 they had in 2008, this drop is drastic. Customers complain of the inflated prices, a big reason Quiznos filed for bankruptcy in 2014.
When Subway began their $5 footlong campaign, Quiznos tried to compete with their very own discount, big surprise, it didn’t work. The chain sent diners a free sandwich coupon back in 2009, but since many locations were already faring poorly, they refused the coupon. As you can guess, many customers became very angry, only damaging Quiznos reputation even more.

7. Hardee’s
The home of charbroiled burgers and controversial ads is none other than the South and Midwest chain: Hardee’s. Hardee’s is known for their standing rivalry with KFC, McDonald’s and Jack in the Box.
At least Hardee’s isn’t afraid to admit that they’ve come up short. In 2003, they admitted that their menu is confusing, their food isn’t good and that their service is sub-par. However, they haven’t seemed to change one bit, since customers are still complaining about the joint.
