Waiting till Friday
Abby was aware that her father liked to unwind with a couple of beers on Fridays, so she assumed he would maintain this habit. And, without fail, every time he did so, he fell asleep, sometimes even in front of the television. He was almost always dozing off when he did this. As a result, she was fully prepared to start her new work on Friday, as planned.
Waiting till Friday
When her clock read 00:00, she pretended to sleep before silently entering her parents’ bedroom and maintained a low profile. She feigned like she was sleeping. She gave the impression that she was fast asleep.
He wasn’t there
She entered the room with caution, opened the door, and then made her way to her father’s side of the bed in a casual manner once she was inside. On the other hand, the fact that her mother was sound asleep came as a complete surprise to her. Since it was quite likely that her father was dozing off in front of the television in this scenario, she made her way downstairs in utter silence.
He wasn’t there
This was done because her father was most likely doing so. Abby had a concussion after tripping over a very noisy floorboard, so it was fortunate that the TV was still on when she awoke after being knocked out.
