Abby could hear the floorboards creaking loudly, and she could feel her heart beating quickly in her chest. She also could feel the floors squeaking loudly. Furthermore, she could hear the floorboards beneath her feet. When she closed her eyes, her father was supposed to turn around and see her, but instead, all she could hear was a loud snoring coming from behind her. She was confused since she thought he would see her.

Reaching for the key
She moved cautiously toward the chair, and once she got there, she sat down despite the fact that her father was still snoring when she did so. She positioned herself in a crouched position behind his chair in preparation for the possibility that he may wake up from his sleep. The key was attached to a key ring, and it was partially visible from the outside of his pocket, which was where it was housed.

The key could also be seen from the inside of his pocket. No matter how far Abby stretched her arm out in front of her in a straight position, she could only get her fingers on the key.
