After his groundbreaking performance as Forrest Gump, Omilami went on to have a successful acting career, during which he appeared in a range of parts, ranging from pivotal to supporting. Even while many people probably wouldn’t immediately identify the roles with the drill sergeant from Forrest Gump, he made his most recent appearances in the movies The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One and Terminator Genisys. Bear Bryant is one of the few characters in the movie that is based on a real person but is not performed by that real person. Sonny Shroyer is the actor that portrays Bear Bryant.
