April “The Boss’ Ross has been one of the world’s best beach volleyball players for over a decade now. She is a two-time Olympic medalist and won a silver medal in 2012 with longtime partner Jen Kessy, and a bronze medal in 2016 with another incredible volleyball player, Kerri Walsh Jennings. April Ross is married to Bradley Keenan, who is also a professional volleyball player, and holds a degree from the University of Southern California. This photo of Ross is from the 2016 ESPY Awards.

Hope Solo
Did you know that Hope Solo, the U.S. Olympic soccer player, wasn’t always a goalie on the soccer field? When she was younger she was a forward for her high school team. Solo switched over to being a goalie while she was playing in college and is now considered to be the best women’s goalkeepers ever. She has two Olympic gold medals to her name, which is well-deserved, as she let only three goals pass against team USA in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup victory. The photo below is from the EPSYs.
