Dave Mustaine

Dave Mustaine was Metallica’s first lead guitarist. He was born in the city of La Mesa, California. Mustaine was fired from Metallica on April 11, 1983, due to his alcoholism, substance addiction, violence, and feuds with founding members James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. Despite this, he was able to achieve great success in his career as a result of the band he founded, “Megadeth.” He is known in his band for both singing and playing fast, amazing lead lines.
