Catherine Bach
Catherine Bach actually got her acting debut playing one of the children in The Sound of Music, but really made a name for herself when she played the iconic Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard, during which her legs (yes, her legs!) were insured for a staggering $1,000,000! Catherine continued to act in many movies after that, and more recently played Anita in The Young and the Restless since 2012, as well as a number of other roles.
Teri Garr
Actress, dancer, and singer Teri Garr starred opposite Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein, later starring in Tootsie and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and many others, with over 140 credits in television and film to her name. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2002, and mostly retired from performing since 2007, but now serves as the National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Talk about making something good out of something bad!
