Mandrell Sisters
Do you remember pop hits from the 70s such as “I Don’t Want to Be Right” and “Sleeping Single in a Double Bed”? Well, these were written and performed by Barbara Mandrell, who would go on to establish a television special called Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters. The TV special lasted a whole two impressive seasons. Many years later, the siblings would host the Unleashed Fundraiser.
Further to their stellar careers, the sensational siblings were also in the spotlight for more controversial reasons thanks to a series of domestic issues. Louise Mandrell’s dating life became a source of much criticism. A few of the Mandrells continue to take to the stage in modern times.
