This biographical movie is about the famed director’s life and work, specifically focusing on his relationship with his wife (portrayed by Helen Mirren) when he was making the legendary horror flick Psycho. Of course, Psycho is now among the most influential films in history, achieving an almost-mythological place among legends of horror. Critics praised Anthony Hopkins’ portrayal of the director and they also noted the uncanny likeness of Hopkins and Hitchcock.
