We understand the desire to extend the life of our sofas, but we would not advise covering them with plastic covers to keep them safe. Even if it was in perfect condition, it would be unappealing. We should consider taking a minor risk to avoid making our sofas look unsightly and allow our sofas to be freely seated. We could conceal the vulnerable areas, and everyone would be pleased with the result.

We should be honest and admit that the pickle jars have been sitting on top of our cabinets for years, possibly even before the younger children were born. We would strongly advise removing this type of home décor and storing the pickle jars in the pantry, where they would be hidden.
