Briana would hear the cops whistle while they walked past the building when Rio had to start going to school. She wanted to let them know what was happening. The next day, she wrote this on a sign: “She started school… Help, please!” After putting it on the window, she forgot about it… until the morning in question.

That day, Rio didn’t go to school because she wasn’t feeling well. It turns out she ran outside to meet the cop she saw every morning from the window. However, when she saw all the people on the sidewalk, she became overwhelmed. When Officer Colvin decided that the little girl wasn’t back at the window, he decided to go back to the house. That he saw her and escorted her home was a good thing! Whew. Whew.
