He had been in awful shape when he was finally rescued by the In-Sync team. Kahn had been so thin that he was 100 pounds lighter than the average lion. In the past, he had been beaten and overworked by his owners. They made him live in a tiny cage, so his muscle growth suffered. This was not good at all.

It is not a secret that the entertainment industry has a penchant for abusing and taking advantage of poor animals. Kahn was not an exception to this awful rule. Wild animals should not be turned into show creatures. What makes this even worse is that owners are not typically willing to pay for the care and the maintenance that they need. They do not feed animals the right food and keep them in small cages. We are glad to hear that Kahn was able to get out of that. It was the start of a new chapter for him.
