Kahn would chew his tail out of frustration and boredom. This is proof of the way he felt about the life that he had to live. The edge of his rear became very swollen. If they did not rescue him in time, he could have gotten sick and died. It was hard for him to walk, so they assumed that he had a bone issue. Keahey said, “When Kahn arrived, his tail end was completely chewed off, and[ he] was skinny.”

He Was Violent And Aggressive
When Kahn was first taken to the rescue center, he was violent. In fact, it was hard for the In-Sync team to assist and interact with him. He did not get enough food when he was with his old owners, so he got aggressive during feeding time. His behavior was dangerous, so they had to be super cautious with him.
