Three Muskateers
Netflix is creating its version of the classic story of the Three Muskateers, this time with a tone similar to Mission Impossible. This modern take may be more appealing for some audiences who are not intrigued by the traditional 17th-century setting. For others who stay true to the classic story may find this version offensive and strays too much away from the original story. Many details have yet to be revealed but it will be produced by Eric Newman and Bryan Unkeless, alongside Scott Glassgold.
Dirty Dancing
In 2017, ABC made its rendition of one of the most iconic films of all time. Unfortunately for most this long-awaited remake was a huge disappointment. The soundtrack and even major themes did not resemble the original. The central storyline remained the same, however, the chemistry between Breslin (Baby) and Prattes (Castle) was far from sufficient for a film of this standing. On top of that, there’s no way Prattes could live up to Swayze’s famous dancing performance in the original 1987 film.
