“My mom had been saving her old prom dress for all these years just so her future daughter could try it on :)” wrote this daughter on Instagram, and we can only say: smart move, mom! That was a lot of planning ahead of time, especially for a high school senior, but it paid off big time. Your daughter looks stunning in your gown, and the gesture is heartfelt and touching. It must be comforting to know that your parents have been thinking about you since they were children!

1989 Is Still In
When she posted this photo, this daughter joked, “1989 is like, super in right now.” In a follow-up comment, her mother added, “I can hardly find the words.” “Yes, this vintage dress came from my closet—right out of 1989, my senior prom!” She said as she explained that her daughter had made a last-minute decision to wear her dress. That was an excellent decision on her part, and the transparent mesh and beading look stunning on them both.
