The 90s Still Look Cool
This young lady managed to repurpose her mother’s prom gown 25 years later. Her mother, pictured at left, wore the dress for her prom in 1991, while she wore it for hers in 2016. Not only is black the most timeless of colors, as we’ll see in future photos, but the tea-length silhouette is a tried and true classic as well. By wearing this dress, both of these ladies really upped the glam factor.

Mom captioned this photo with, “prom 1980-something, prom 2016.” She went on to say that the gown was sewn with love by her own mother, which added to its sweetness and sentimentality. By the way, how fortunate are all of these ladies that their dress sizes are so close across their generations? Consider how happy you’d be if your mother’s or grandmother’s gown fit perfectly for your dance.
