He examined the necklace after carefully removing it from the jewelry box. He abruptly pulled out magnifying glasses from a drawer. He paid close attention to the details. He continued to stare, and the longer he did, the more negatively his expression changed. Sarah could tell right away that the man was anxious.

“Is everything alright?” Sarah enquired. She wasn’t sure why, but she started to feel uneasy. The man had her necklace in his hand when she tried to grab it back and bolt out the door. If she reached for the necklace, he most certainly wouldn’t release it.
