Svalbard Global Seed Vault – Norway
The Svalbard Global Seed Vault is an impressive structure on Svalbard Archipelago, halfway between Mainland Norway and the Northern Pole. It is regarded as the “Doomsday Vault.” It contains almost all crops of Earth in the event of a natural catastrophe for survival. There are currently 1 million types of seed, but much should be achieved. The harsh conditions of the island and the permafrost allow these seeds to thrive. Regardless of what occurs on the Earth.
North Brother Island – New York
You can be stunned to discover this tiny island between New York City’s the Bronx and Queens. North Brother Island performed some terrible operations, like Poveglia Island. It became an isolation facility in the 1880s, but one of the world’s greatest tragedies happened in 1905. An island boat fired and killed over 1,000 people. The island was deserted in 1963 and is now reclaimed by nature.
