Long luxurious showers basically do not exist in the military because there isn’t time for them. Brief showers wouldn’t even exist if they weren’t a necessity. Post-service, ex-soldiers often take this habit with them in civilian life.

Military people feel more comfortable donning sunglasses. It doesn’t matter if the sun isn’t shining. They will still be wearing their sunglasses.
