Military people stand in line quietly and don’t make a commotion. This stems from basic training. In controlled silence, they stand in line while waiting for orders or prior to entering the mess hall. When they go back to civilian life, they also wait quietly for the bus or their turn at the ATM.

Checking Your Car
Discipline in the military is important in keeping safe. Before a soldier heads out on a mission, they must check the vehicle that they are using in order to make sure it is prepared and safe, be it an armored personnel carrier, a fighter jet, or a helicopter. When they leave the service, they don’t break themselves of the habit and continue to check their own vehicle.
