Shawn Kemp – Sports Bar Owner

Shawn Kemp was an outstanding NBA player for 14 years. He was named to the NBA’s Second Squad three times and an All-Star team six times. He retired in 2003, although he remained engaged in sports in his own way. He did it by launching Oskar’s Kitchen, a sports car. Given that he was in Seattle, it was a dangerous move for him. He tried to keep it going for as long as he could. Unfortunately, he had to close it down in 2015. As a co-owner of Amber’s Kitchen, he is actively active in the business.

Darko Milicic – Apple Grower

There’s a reason Darko Milicic is known as the NBA’s biggest draft flop. In 2003, he was the second overall pick. He ended up moving around the league before retiring in 2012 as a member of the Boston Celtics. He now lives a tranquil life in Serbia, where he grows apples. He used to be a kickboxer before adopting this way of life. The sport didn’t appeal to the big guy, who preferred to plant rows and rows of apple trees on his 125-acre estate. He seemed to be having a good time!
