Tim Duncan – MMA Fighter And Coach
It’s easy to see why this is one of the weirdest items on the list. Tim Duncan is most well-known for his time with the San Antonio Spurs. He, on the other hand, has been training to be an MMA fighter since he retired! Meanwhile, it may be only a hobby, but his trainer hailed him as a “legit competitor” and a “monster.” Duncan also keeps himself busy by owning and operating BlackJack Speed Business, an autobody shop. He opened it for the first time in 2013. Four years later, the shop helped arrange the distribution of emergency supplies to Hurricane Harvey victims. He also agreed to work as an assistant coach with the Spurs!
Michael Ray Richardson – Substitute Teacher And Youth Camp Helper
For 24 years, Michael “Sugar” Ray Richardson ruled the NBA floor. Unfortunately, his career was cut short in 1986 when the commissioner handed him a lifetime ban. Following that, he proceeded to play in various regions across the world, including 14 years in Europe. He retired in 2002 and briefly tried his hand at coaching. However, he discovered his calling as a substitute teacher. He’s in his fifties and works as a teacher in Oklahoma. He also helps out at a youth camp for impoverished kids!
