Despite playing in the NBA for 15 years, Derrick Coleman’s coaches referred to him as “lazy.” This criticism, however, does not appear to apply to the next chapter of his life! He’s been touring Flint, ensuring that residents have access to safe drinking water. Isn’t that amazing and admirable? “Exactly, that’s what I’m seeing. Distress. I’m seeing people that require aid. I’ve observed rust and other pollutants in their drinking water. Sadly, Flint has become a ghost town… “How can anything like this happen in America?” he asked.
Steve Francis – Entrepreneur
After nine years of service, Steve Francis announced his retirement from the NBA. He afterward switched his focus to other activities. He followed the music and, among other things, established Maserati Music. It was a hip-hop record label that didn’t do well. This, however, did not prevent him from starting a new firm. He launched a clothing line called We r One, but he has now placed all of his projects on hold.
