The talk show presenter first met the attractive actor during a screen test for the long-running soap serial All My Children in the 1990s. They fell in love right away and ended up playing lovers on TV, he as Mateo Santos and she as Hayley Vaughan. “I thought she was adorable, hot, sexy, and all that kind of stuff,” Consuelos told HuffPost Live. “I never thought about getting married,” Ripa admitted to Good Housekeeping. “I never imagined that I would grow old with someone. I saw my entire future with him flash before [my eyes] when I saw the photograph of him.” The couple eloped in May 1996 and has three gorgeous children.
