Pals With Presidents
We had all been aware that Reba McEntire was surely an adorable person. We all knew that she had a talent for getting along with almost any person she had encountered. Most of her friends had been famous personalities, which would include George H. W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States, and George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States. There was one time when Reba McEntire mentioned, “We e-mail each other on our Treos all the time — nothing political, just passing jokes back and forth. He’s really into the e-mail, and so are his buddies. Senior Bush invited my husband [Narvel Blackstock] and me on a private cruise to the Greek Islands years ago. We became very good friends, and that’s when the e-mail stuff started.”

She Loves Shooting
Reba McEntire was just like the typical country girl. It meant that it was not so shocking that she loved guns and shooting with them. Reba clarified that she did not know how to shoot a firearm during her childhood. Reba only learned how to shoot them when she received shooting lessons when she was filming a movie. Reba recalled, “When I found out that I was going to do a movie called ‘Buffalo Girls’ with Anjelica Huston several years before this, I went and learned how to skeet shoot and trap shoot because I wanted to be able to look like I knew how to shoot a gun because we never did that when we were home in Oklahoma.”
