A Different Kind Of Album
Reba McEntire made her first gospel album and titled it Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope last February 3, 2017. The album had two discs with the first one filled with more traditional hymns, and the other one had songs she had written on her own.

Gospel Album In The Making
Reba McEntire clarified that she cooked the idea of creating an album with a collection of gospels, all thanks to Bill Carter, her previous manager. It was going to be Reba’s 28th studio album, and it was packed with all of her favorite songs that she had been pulling together all that time. Reba also had a few inspirations from the hymn book she owned when she was still a child.
