Reba McEntire managed to enter the fast-food industry as soon as she was cast as the first female Colonel Sanders for a Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial last January 2018. It was a part of KFC’s promotion of its latest product known as the Smoky Mountain BBQ. The female colonel Sanders wore the corresponding outfit and threw the red hat to her audience. Of course, it landed precisely on top of the head of the genuine Reba McEntire.

There was no doubt that it was surely an odd thought, and yet, Reba showed no hesitation. Reba McEntire informed the reporters about how she felt when she received the offer: “Absolutely I want to do that. Who wouldn’t want to be the first female Kentucky Fried Chicken Colonel? It feels very good. And my goatee tickles a little bit and my mustache. But I am a pretty good-looking gray-haired man.” Reba McEntire raved about the strange idea that was presented to her.
