Why was this person there?
In an effort to avoid being noticed by anyone inside, David crept near his home. He had no idea what the person’s motives were, making it a terrifying predicament to be in. Was it only one person looking for a place to crash? Or was it a person with a violent or perhaps criminal past?

Sneaking inside
David needed to be ready because it could easily go either way. He searched the area for any form of weapon and discovered a large stick. He crept near the front door while holding the stick in his hand. He was fortunate that the door wasn’t locked. He gazed carefully inside his home after cautiously creaking open the door.
