When he purchased the house years ago, there was no knowledge of a secret room. Before purchasing the property, he had looked over the ground plan, and nothing like this was depicted. Otherwise, he would have remembered it without a doubt. David regarded the steps while suddenly becoming quite inquisitive.

Descending the stairs
After giving it some thought, David slowly descended the stairs while grabbing a flashlight, his curiosity having won out. It grew progressively darker with each step. As he descended, he shone his light around the completely dark space and was astounded by what he discovered.
