The Green Torpedo
There was a vast green torpedo in their basement. The couple then spoke to an Army veteran who taught that it was for either a mortar or lightweight anti-tank weaponry from the Vietnam and Korean War. Eventually, the authorities came to get the bomb away. When the DeForests questioned how on earth a projectile would end up in someone’s basement, the response they got was that seldom, people kept that as souvenirs.
Discovery
While it must be interesting to see some old artifacts in the basement of the house you just purchased, seldom, people feel completely different things. Diane and Pat Farla were in an antique Victorian house in England, where they wandered about the mysterious grate in their basement. One night, they chose to investigate after drinking a small wine.
