The couple invited historians and asked about it and discovered that the room dated back to the 1700s. It is believed that the place was utilized as a secret Catholic Church in a period when Catholics were abused and executed.

This man accidentally found a whole underground city. Derinkuyu is one of the rarest and impressive archeological findings of the 20th century. The ancient city was built by a massive system of underground tunnels that homed the Hittites.
