One of the oldest establishments in Los Angeles is Clifton’s Cafeteria and is located in a historic building. When the owner chose to restore the bathroom, he found the most mysterious thing: a neon light. The weirdest was that the light was still on. Specialists are stating that the light had been on for 77 years straight, making it the most extended lit neon light in the world.
The owner estimates that the light was first lit in 1935 when the building was changed into a forest-themed diner. However, the owner soon realized that he had presumably paid around $17,000 in electrical charges because of the light. This case severely confused experts, since neon lights aren’t recognized to run for longer than 40 years straight.

A couple in Hungary was surprised when they found some top-secret Nazi documents that were stored in their walls. During the restoration, the couple got over 6,000 Nazi documents hiding in their walls, all from the Third Reich. The records include information about the catastrophe, precisely, a listing to count Jews and assign homes which they could be transferred into before they were moved into ghettos in Budapest. The Nazis destroyed most of these kinds of records when they identified they’d stumble into enemy hands.
