They arrived shortly thereafter to the veterinarian’s office. After saying him farewell, she abandoned him in front of the structure. After signing in at the front desk, Jonathan sat in the waiting area with the small animal concealed in the bag so as not to disturb the other animals in the office. He did, however, present the animal to the receptionist, who possessed the same sense of direction as Jonathan.

Because the animal appeared to be in terrible health, she informed Jonathan that she would move him up the list to prevent disturbing the other animals. Even though he was aware of this, Jonathan was nevertheless astonished when his name was called shortly thereafter.
