Prior to continuing his trek, Jonathan did not have another thought. It is possible that the animal was not endemic to this region or forest. Even if a monkey is not native to this area, it would make more sense. How did the animal arrive if it was not a native? Once again, humans were the only reasonable option.

He Needed A Vet
Whatever the species, Jonathan would care for it and find it the necessary assistance. Certainly, a shelter would accept the monkey, but first it needed to see a veterinarian. The trip to the city took around half an hour. Jonathan prayed that the animal would be safe till then. The sky was getting darker outside.
