We live in a country where you can travel for more than 2,500 kilometres without leaving. Over American soil, you can fly in a straight line for 2,802 miles. We don’t grow up studying languages the way people do when countries are packed together like New England states. Texas is here. There are entire countries that are smaller than Texas.
