Talking To Strangers
Granted, not all Americans do this, but for those that do, it’s a dead giveaway that you’re from the United States. It’s not so much the accent that comes out when you open your mouth as it is the fact that you opened your mouth at all. The kindness of Americans differs from that of other countries. Perhaps this is why we’re always warning kids about strangers with candy—we don’t know how to keep our mouths quiet.
Pulling Out the Purell
Americans aren’t particularly clean. That is not what we mean. However, they appear to be more concerned with germs than individuals in other parts of the world. When it comes to eating with your hands in public, Americans reach for their travel-sized Purell bottles faster than any duel participant.
