Tipping
Tipping is significant in America since most waiters earn less than $3 per hour and rely on gratuities to make ends meet. Most other countries, on the other hand, require eateries to pay their employees. Tipping is perplexing in most of Europe, for example. Having said that, Americans are sometimes too cheap to tip at all, despite our sense of obligation.
Unbridled Positivity
This is not a dig at one culture or another. However, Americans have an endless amount of optimism and the belief that everything is possible. Even more so, they believe that significant change may occur fast. That is not true of all cultures. Take, for example, the French. Perhaps it isn’t fair to call them pessimistic, but there is a palpable sense of dissatisfaction across the community.
