Creating a Plan
It wasn’t feasible. John was in a terrible place. Of course, he wouldn’t want to leave the wolf alone in its current condition. The animal may die from bleeding, exposure to bacterial infection, or even chew off its leg. He was not happy with any of these scenarios. John had to find a solution to address such a complex situation, in a way that nobody gets injured.
Creating a Plan
The traps were meant to get smaller animals, and in this situation, it was a good thing. This trap has no teeth and instead picked up the paw of any animal that walked through it. It was nearly like a pair of handcuffs! Without human assistance, it was difficult for any animal to escape its grasp. John had to make a choice and find a method to help the wolf. Leaving the wolf to die is not part of his plan. It didn’t even cross his mind.
A Dangerous Animal
Animals like coyotes or wolves may not be wounded by the trap, but that doesn’t imply they will be happy if caught. The wolf did not cry due to pain but because of the situation it was in. It knows that this may not be a happy ending. Nobody loves to be caught. The wolf must be very confused and helpless, and John is its only way out.
A Dangerous Animal
Wolves, especially lone ones, do not attack people in the wild very often. A trapped one is probably different, though. If he planned to have the wolf out of the trap, John must remember that it might be a different situation. Will it appreciate his assistance? or will it strike him off? He didn’t have any idea.
