The timber wolf is included in the Federal Species Endangered List. It was, therefore, it is at risk of being extinct! Moreover, in the state of Wisconsin, it was unlawful to kill it. It was impossible to shoot the animal since if caught, it would lead to jail time.

John and the wolf both looked at one another, and it is evident that the two already wanted the contest to stop. The question is, is John sure that this was a timber wolf?
