Lil’ Kim Then
In case you are not aware, the real name of Lil’ Kim is Kimberly Denise Jones. She picked up rapping when she was still young and made it big when she worked with the Notorious B.I.G. She was only 19 years old back then. She went on to date Biggie on and off until he passed away in 1997. Her debut album is called “Hard Core” and came out in 1996. It has since gone double platinum, which is pretty impressive. The next two records also went platinum, which is evidence that she is a true music icon.

If you are a Biggie fan, you might remember the “It’s like the more wealth we come through, the more issues we see” line from “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems.” You can look at it as a foreshadowing of the fate of Lil ‘Kim. The rapper has experienced a lot of financial and legal problems ever since she first joined the music industry. On top of that, she has gone under the knife. If you ask us, she looks so very different from the young woman we first got to know back in the ‘90s.
