When she was 7 years old, her Jewish family left for the United States after the collapse of the Soviet Union. They went to Los Angeles, where she grew up. The family had a hard time at first, which is something that other immigrants can tell you all about. She started to go to after-school acting workshops. An agent later discovered her and gave her TV show and commercial gigs. At the age of 14, she finally got her big break when she was cast to star in That ‘70s Show. When it comes to film, the credit goes to Forgetting Sarah Marshall. She was also in Ted and Black Swan.
