PAMELA ANDERSON
She might be known as “the ultimate Californian girl,” but Pamela Anderson was not really born in the Golden State! Thanks to her tan complexion and blonde hair, people have always assumed that she is an all-American girl. In reality, she was raised in British Columbia, Canada. In 1989, she relocated to California. In 2004, she could finally call herself an American. Barbra Federman, her lawyer, once said that the Baywatch star took a citizenship test and underwent an interview to become a citizen. Luckily, she got to keep her original citizenship through this. Aside from acting, she is also known for her work in animal rights. She became more vocal and active about it after becoming a US citizen!
